Robby Good

Robby Good (he/him) is a Los Angeles-based composer and performer. He participated in the Nancy and Barry Sanders Los Angeles Philharmonic Composer Fellowship Program, where he studied under composers Andrew Norman and Sarah Gibson. He attended the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music in 2022, graduating with a double bachelor’s degree in Composition and Percussion Performance; in 2024, he would receive a Master of Arts degree in Composition for Visual Media from UCLA as well. Robby has studied composition privately with Ian Krouse, Peter Golub, and Derrick Skye, and has worked for film/television composer and recording artist Michael A. Levine. He currently serves as acclaimed composer and songwriter Charles Fox’s personal assistant.

Robby has scored over 45 films and animations of varying lengths and genres. He is currently working on the music for the ongoing video game Project: Eden’s Garden. Robby was also the principal composer and the orchestrator for the original musical theater production Dis-topia, which premiered under his directorship on February 17th and 18th, 2024. Robby’s concert works have been performed by ensembles such as the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the International Contemporary Ensemble, the National Children’s Chorus, the Los Angeles Percussion Quartet, the Calder String Quartet, and the Kaleidoscope Chamber Orchestra.
